Re: curry noodles... anyone?
Fri, September 17, 2004 - 7:32 AMI haven't seen curry noodles to tell you honestly. It's usually egg noodles since they're yellow in color. Once you add the curry to the noodles it will dominate the taste of the dish. I'm tried Thai and Burmese style curry noodles it's very good. -

Sun, July 17, 2005 - 8:43 PMat this sf based restaurant called suriya, there's a dish called chiang mai noodles - which is basically thick white flour noodles in a really yummy yellow chicken curry base. i don't know if it's traditional fare or not, but it sure is good. -

Re: curry noodles... anyone?
Fri, September 9, 2005 - 8:50 PMYES! In April while i was in Japan, my friend took me to Tsukiji, the giant fish market. After having a field day buying more than my suitcase home could carry of hijiki, kombu, wakame and various other dried japanese ingredients, she showed me this tiny and very old udon shop that specialized in a curry udon soup. OISHI DESU NE!!! :)
one of the most memorable noodle dishes i have experienced, so far. -

Wed, March 8, 2006 - 9:13 AMIn Shanghai, a popular breakfast snack is a curried beef noodle soup made with bean thread noodles (fen si). It uses a touch of Madras curry, I think.
